RRR (Subtitled Raudram Ranam Rudhiram) is a 2022 Telugu language historical action drama film directed by S.S. was directed by Rajamouli, who also wrote the screenplay with Vijayendra Prasad. Produced by Danaya under the banner of DVV Entertainment, the film stars N.T. including influential actors. Rama Rao Jr., Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirkani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody and Olivia Morris. The epic film serves as a fictional tribute to two legendary Indian freedom fighters—Alluri Sitaram Raju (played by Charan) and Komaram Bheem (played by Rama Rao)—demonstrating their close friendship and shared struggle against British colonial rule.

The film announcement first came in February 2022 with the working title AK61, marking Ajith Kumar’s 61st film in a mainstream medium. The government title was announced in September 2022. The film began shooting in April 2022 in Hyderabad, itself shot in Chennai and in Thailand proper, with a 2022 release slated for completion. The Sabarmati Report is a Hindi-language drama thriller, written by Avinash and Arjun, and originally directed by Ranjan Chandel, who was later replaced by Raj Sarna. Produced by Balaji Motion Pictures and Vikir Films Productions, and distributed by Zee Studios, the film delves into the tragic Godhra coach burning events of 27 February 2002, which engulfed the Sabarmati Express. The film stars Vikrant Massey, Prasad Khanna and Dogra 15mm.
The trailer of the film was launched at an event in Mumbai, Rajasthan. During the event, Vikrant Massey revealed that he was getting risks in the film due to his participation in the Godhra training burning incidents.
“Yes, I’ve got concerns. But as I said before, we are artists, and our work is stellar. The film is based on real events. This thing is me, the whole team together. We ensure that it is done properly,” shared Vikrant.
Crakk
Crakk, also known as Crakk – Jeetega… To Jeetega! (2024), is a Hindi language sports action film directed by Aditya Dutt and produced by Vidyut Jamwal and Abbas Syed under the banner Action Hero Films. The film stars Vidyut Jamwal, Arjun Rampal, Nora Fatehi and Amy Jackson. It is being promoted as India’s first extreme sports action film.
The story follows Siddharth “Sidhu” Dixit, a youth from the slums of Mumbai, who joins a ruthless underground sports arena controlled by a man named Dev. Sidhu’s mission is to unravel the mystery behind the disappearance of his brother Nihal Dixit.
Despite being India’s first extreme sports action movie, Crakk: Jeetega… To Jeetega! had a slow start at the box office. Industry tracker Seknilk reported that the film has collected around Rs. 4 crore on its opening day on February 23.
